Use the Hand Set for trimming stone to size when the surface is relatively flat. This chisel features two usable blades for rockfacing, squaring and pitching stone.
The Carbide Hand Tracer is used to split stone or to score a line before trimming. Featuring a carbide-tipped blade, this Hand Tracer offers the best-possible wear resistance and performance when splitting the hardest types of stone. The carbide-tipped blade will hold its edge longer than its hardened steel equivalent, but should be reground as needed to maintain its like-new shape and performance.
Use the Offset Hand Set when the chipper style is desired but more strength is needed. This tool makes it easier to see your pitch line and also helps to avoid nicking as you trim your stone.
